Choosing Seeds

It is very important to only use seeds of native plant species, as non-natives can be harmful to the established ecosystem.  Invasive species are non-native plants that have been introduced into an ecosystem by the activities of mankind.  They often cause harm by overwhelming native plant communities, thus destroying the natural balance of soil/plant/animal relationships.

See the links to the right if you need help finding which seeds are native to your area.
